Let me time start by saying if it wasn't for the staff this place would receive 5 stars. I love love love hungry howies pizza. However, a couple of weeks ago I ordered pizza to go at this particular location they got my order wrong to the point I missed dinner that night because I was too exhausted to go back to this location as I stay in Inglis. Okay no big deal I call they give me a free pizza after telling me he was hooking me up, like are you for real you are "hooking" me up, you messed my order up so how are you hooking me up?!?!? So today I call and order and talked to the same manager I spoke to last time and he took my order, we get there and I have my teenage nieces go in to get our order which consisted of THREE pizzas. They walk out and automatically I knew thenorser was wrong because there was only two boxes. So they run back in and tell the manager they only got two pizzas, he tells them he is not calling them a liar BUT..... he knows he gave them THREE pizzas. He also ask them if they have ever worked in a restaurant before, like no they are only 13 and 15.... not even sure why he proceeded to ask them unless it was the fact that he said pizza just doesn't grow legs and walk away. Not even sure but at this point I go in, I ask him to please come out to my car and check because he only gave my nieces 2 pizzas, he told me he was to busy for that. Okay no big deal but ultimately I still haven't received my third pizza which mind you was a free pizza that he messed up on last time. Like seriously, he told me he didn't call them liars but what exactly would you call it. My nieces sure thought that was the case, when they left out he pushed the pizzas to them and said there is nothing I can do for you have a great day. Ugh I know this is super long and some of the stuff is basically runni g together but I have never, ever, ever been so pissed in my life! So I have to wait 10 minutes 5 from arguing with him, and the other 5 for them making the pizza we never received! So my other two pizzas are cold! How ridiculous is this?!?!. I am calling tomorrow to talk to the manager about them checking the cameras to prove my nieces only walked out with two pizzas originally. I have all my information, receipts and timeline to present to the owner. Hopefully he will handle the suppose to be manager on staff. Tyler "the manager" is so very unprofessional, and has no concept of what it is to be a manager in my opinion!
Depending on the crew that gets put in there you could get yourself some decent pizza. Mine turned out ok tonight, but my suggestion is "Check your pizza BEFORE you pay!" even delivered.
1st time I've ever eaten at any Hungry Howie's and hand down beats Pizza Hut for quality & selection of food, not to mention their prices are a lot less expensive with a larger serving.
We eat here regularly. They are always accurate with wait times and the food is always cooked properly. Over time they even know what we order. Service is great!
