Upon my first visit with the doctor, I was impressed and hopeful. On subsequent visits I met only with 2 staff members: the nurse who evaluated my meds; then a therapist(?) who listened to my concerns and offered counseling, the best part! She was helpful. I never saw the doctor again, but for once when he peeked in the door to confirm a change in meds.
Was a bit leery after reading the reviews of the staff but I have to say my experience was completely positive. I needed some assistance and guidance on medications and that is why I made the apt. The front desk person was friendly and cordial. The nurse I spoke with Kristen was also very good and very friendly. The Dr himself was very laid back, mellow, helpful and completely honest. One of the best medical experiences I have ever had.
The med checks need to be scheduled for longer because they always seem to run behind with them, and the check in station could be set up so much more efficiently, but I cannot express how much this place has helped me. They are so patient and take time to answer all of my many questions. They've never made me feel judged or forced into doing anything. I feel like I have a safe and welcome place to go. And don't even get me started on Jaycee. She's changed my out look on life. This is the first time in years that I've had hope that putting in the work will actually make a difference, that I will actually get better. I'm so thankful, from the bottom of my heart, for all the hard work that these amazing folks put in!
For a brave first-time attempt at reaching out to a psychiatrist, I was sorely disappointed. He was only a prescription writer. My GP's assistant, an ARNP, was the one who helped me find the appropriate medication, low dose, that is still working for me several years later. And she listened and counseled me much more effectively than this haughty "psychiatrist."

He's the best. Seen him for years. Since about 2007, in the previous building. You don't personally see him much anymore. They've really grown in size. Sometimes it's really difficult getting medicine called in. There's been times I'd call repeatedly to get med filled having to go without med for 4 days once. Bottom line, I've conquered huge things with his services.
