The pool is very nice large and has a tiki bar and also if you are going fishing on a charter this is a great location .

This COULD be the most fabulous resort. They choose not to make it as nice as it could be. The bar by the pool was wonderful. The grounds are Old Florida and I felt transported back in time. They made me the best red sangria ever. The restaurant is nice and the service was wonderful. The staff was excellent. If they would upgrade the lobby furniture and replace the dingy carpet in the halls I would have felt better about spending over $200 a night.

We are staying here for two nights this weekend and are very pleased with the accommodations and will be booking again next year.

This is our first time staying here but we have been in contact with The Plantation for a few months now. Every time I have come in contact with an employee at the Plantation they have been so friendly.

My family went to the breakfast buffet this morning and enjoyed. Worth the $13.95

Stayed in a Jr. Suite. Paid for a water view but when we got to the room it wasn't. The place is older although it's freshly painted. Had sugar ants in coffee pot and microwave. Called front desk no one came up. The worst part was the canal to park the boat - at low tide your boat is sitting on dry land!! No one shared that with us and it certainly wasn't in the brochure! Neither was the extra $15 resort fee per night they tacked onto the bill. Only one boat ramp so get in line and wait it out.

The place looks like it might have been a nice resort 30 yrs ago. It needs a lot of maintenance.

The place is a little out dated on the inside but they are in the process of remodeling. The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We really loved the pool area and that we were on the river. We went swimming with the Manatee's and it was the worth the $65. We went in off season so we were lucky to see them. When we were done with the Manatees, they took us to Three Sisters spring. It was beautiful and i'm so happy we got to snorkel there. Memphis and Dustin (not sure if name is right) were awesome. I will be going back here again.
