I have been calling and the call goes to his voicemail that has a full mailbox. I've texted him on the mobile phone number listed on his website. On his website is a page to contact him. I wrote a message asking him to call me and to give back my smart key. I also took the drive to the address listed on his website. It's actually his house that's in a residential area. I knocked on the door and no one answered so I left a hand written note and placed it on the driver side window of his service truck.
Dave the Locksmith has my smart key for my Toyota Prius and won't give it back. I found him on Google, called. He had me meet him at Publix parking lot behind Hardees by Grover Cleveland road. He had trouble with programming my smart key and said he was going to take it to the Toyota service department as he claims he did all their locksmith work.
Great company! Used their services twice this month and could not be happier. Went above and beyond to help me and save me money along the way! Would definitely recommend.
Terrible Service we a commercial business stiffed us on a job compleation refused to respond to more that a weeks phone call took our money did not finish the job said he had to go get a part never returned to fisnish the job had to call another lock smith to complete the job MY RECOMMENDATION !!! DO NOT USE HIM
We are in a rental house in Homosassa and this morning I couldn't get the patio door unlocked. I googled locksmith's near me. Based on the ratings I called them. Dave arrived when he said he would and replaced the locks after talking to the landlord. I couldn't have been happier with the response and his service.
That was this past Monday. I called the next day to check on the status of my smart key. He assured me that he wanted to figure this particular problem out as he had never ran into this issue before. That was the last time he took my call. It's now Friday and I'm concerned that I'm out the $100 that it cost me for the smart key.
The reviews associated with this listing must be fake except for the other one star review. There was another one star review from a local business that is somehow no longer posted. In this review, he took there money and never came back to finish the job. The missing review, very suspicious.
An update: I called Village Toyota and asked if they, indeed, use AAA Lock Masters for their work. They said they used to but not any more. So Mr. Dave lied to me when he said he was their locksmith. I'm not sure why he won't take my call either. He had probably 50 to 100 brand new key fobs for many different vehicles in his service truck.
My advice: find another lock smith, even if you have to call to another county.
