Could have been better.
When the salad came the chicken was broiled, it had balsamic glaze on the side and the only lettuce was iceberg. The strawberries were fresh and good, but I expected more for the 10 dollar price tag.
What a great experience here, place was super busy and our server was terrific! I loved the atmosphere and the mason jars filled with sweet tea! The lobster was great, I had the meatloaf and let me tell you, the best I've ever had! The cocktail menu was full of great wines! Our friends say there steaks were great as well!! We had a group of 12 and were all telling our friends!!
I've never left a less than perfect review. Yelp can kill businesses and that is not my intention. We are new homeowners on the river and came to the Grinchmas event. We were fully aware that the crowds could effect service, however we were seated without wait. Received our drinks in a timely fashion. Placed our food order. Then nothing for 45 to 50 minutes. Then 2 of the 4 meals arrived. One half warm. The other missing some of the ingredients listed on the menu. Another 15 minutes, and we received the other two meals ordered. One missing sides, one with sides "on the way". One of the meals was a completely raw burger that wasn't ordered, and the other was a completely burned burger missing it's sides. Our neighboring table had ordered a kids mac and cheese for their baby and it had shrimp in it. NO seafood for babies. Not sure what happened tonight. It was a huge mess, and I really hope for things to get better. I want small business to survive. Please take this as constructive criticism and hope it's improved next time we visit.
$30 MEALS AND THEY WERE TERRIBLE!! DEFINITELY WILL NOT MAKE THAT MISTAKE AGAIN & WASTE OUR TIME OR MONEY!!
The menu looks very good interesting dishes, goo variety. Ordered the Strawberry salad and a side of fried green tomatoes. I asked for fried chicken instead of broiled and raspberry vinegerett instead of the balsamic glaze. The food took forever other customers who came in after we did were served before we were.
Waitress friendly. Wait to be seated too long, wait for food much longer than stated only half of food came out. My order tooooo spicy, sent back unable to eat. Only 3 of 7 orders tasted good. Would not return
The server was attentive and not overbearing, but there were only a few customers in the dining room. I didn't ask for a correction of the chicken because it had taken so long to get the meal in the first place. A nice venue, friendly staff, so so food. It could have been better.
Wow. Where to begin?? There was one other table here (a couple) while we dined. The servers & hostess chatted in plain sight while we waited to even get a menu or drink order taken...prob about 4 to 5 min or so, and then there was quite a wait to get 2 bottles of beer.
